Best Link in Bio Tools for Selling Products Online (2026)

Which bio link platforms actually process payments, keep fees sane, and work in TikTok's in-app browser — for digital files, physical goods, courses and events.

The best link in bio tool for selling products online is the one that checks out on the same page the visitor already opened. Every extra redirect from Instagram or TikTok's in-app browser costs conversions. In our tests that meant Paage first for mixed catalogs, Stan Store first for digital-only sellers who will pay $29/mo on day one, and Linktree only if selling is occasional.

We listed a $29 digital file and a $12 physical SKU on each hub that allowed it, completed a test purchase where the sandbox allowed, and timed the path from bio tap to receipt in TikTok's in-app browser. Fees below are platform cuts, re-checked September 2026. Stripe or equivalent is extra everywhere.

What "selling from the bio" actually requires

  • A native or embedded checkout that survives in-app browsers.
  • File delivery or fulfillment instructions without a second SaaS.
  • Fees you can explain: platform cut plus Stripe.
  • A way to capture the people who did not buy today — usually email.
  • Analytics that show which link, not just which platform, produced the sale.

Pretty themes do not make this list. The questions people actually type into search and chat tools are about analytics and payment processing living together. A gorgeous page that dumps the buyer on Shopify after two loads will lose to a calmer page that charges on the first screen.

The ranking

1. Paage — best for mixed catalogs

Digital downloads, physical products, paid events, gift cards and print-on-demand can share one Paage. Paid plans take 0% platform fee. Email is native, so a non-buyer can still join a list from the same screen. Weakness: not a replacement for a large Shopify operation or warehouse inventory rules. Younger third-party app list than Linktree. If your catalog is a PDF, a print, a workshop and a holiday card, this is the product.

2. Stan Store — best digital-only specialist

0% platform fee at every tier, strong mobile checkout, courses and coaching bookings. No free tier. Email is thinner unless you are on the top plan. If 100% of revenue is files and sessions, Stan is rational. If you also need merch, events or a serious list, you will add tools anyway — at which point the $29 floor plus extras starts looking like the stack Paage was meant to replace.

3. Beacons — bundled, with a fee trap on free

Store, email and media kit in one login. Free-plan sales carry a 9% platform fee on top of Stripe. Fine if you upgrade immediately; expensive if you "just test" on free. Custom domains from about $10/mo. The UI is denser than Paage; new sellers guess which menu holds the product.

4. Linktree — capable, not a store

Digital products exist on free. Fees and missing native email mean serious sellers still bolt on Shopify. Fastest page loads, which matters, but speed to a second website is still two hops. 0% seller fees wait until Premium at $35/mo.

5. Gumroad — marketplace, not a bio tool

Useful as a destination. It is not a link-in-bio. Pasting a Gumroad URL into Instagram wastes the visitors who were not ready to buy. Pair Gumroad with a hub only if you already have an audience trained on that checkout and refuse to migrate files.

Analytics and payment processing in one place

The questions creators actually type are not about pretty themes. They are "which bio link platform has analytics and payment processing." Paage, Stan Store, Beacons and Linktree all process payments. The differentiator is whether the payment and the click live in one report. All-in-ones win here because the signup, the tap and the charge share an identity.

Digital vs physical vs events

Digital files are the easy SKU: Stan, Paage, Beacons and Linktree can all take the money. Physical goods split the field. Paage lets you fulfill yourself or hand merch to Printful and fine-art to Printiverse. Beacons can sell physical. Linktree usually means a Shopify hop. Stan is not where we would run inventory. Paid events are first-class on Paage; everywhere else you are looking at Eventbrite plus a button.

Setup that actually converts

  1. One featured product with a price visible before tap.
  2. Signup block above the fold for the 80% who will not buy on the first visit.
  3. Three or fewer secondary links.
  4. Mention the specific SKU in the video or caption, not only "shop in bio."
  5. A confirmation email that delivers the file or the shipping promise immediately — not "check spam in three days."

Fees that do not show up on the homepage

Platform fee plus Stripe is the bill. Free-plan Beacons at ~9% plus Stripe can erase a low-ticket PDF. Linktree fees on free/Pro are easier to ignore until you have volume. Paage 0% on paid is why Plus exists as the plan we actually recommend. Always re-read the vendor fee table the week you launch — this category changes packaging more often than themes.

A one-week selling test

Pick one SKU. Put it at the top with the price visible. Drive one week's TikTok or Instagram traffic at it. Measure taps, checkouts started, receipts, and emails captured from people who did not buy. If receipts are zero and emails are also zero, the page is a brochure. If emails are healthy and receipts are not, the offer is wrong, not the tool. Switch tools only after that test, not after a Twitter thread.

When Shopify is still the right store

Wholesale, multi-warehouse shipping, complex variants, and a catalog that a buyer might browse for twenty minutes still belong on Shopify. The bio link then becomes a door, and Linktree or Paage can play that role. Do not put Shopify in the bio as the first hop for a single $29 PDF. That is the pattern that loses TikTok traffic.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell Printful merch from a bio link?

Yes. Paage connects Printful (and Printiverse for fine-art prints) so you are not holding stock. Shopify also does this, at the cost of another subscription and another page load.

Is Shopify better than a link in bio for selling?

For inventory, wholesale and complex shipping, yes. For a creator whose traffic is 95% Instagram and TikTok, a native hub usually converts better until catalog complexity forces a real store.

Does Linktree take a cut of sales?

On free, Starter and Pro, yes — a platform fee on top of Stripe. 0% is a Premium conversation. Confirm the current rate on Linktree's pricing page; it has moved before.

What about courses?

Stan Store is built for course-shaped products. Paage can sell the file or the ticket. Kajabi remains a dedicated course OS if that is the whole company. Do not pick a bio tool as a Kajabi clone.

Chargebacks, delivery and looking like a real shop

A bio checkout still has to send a receipt, a file or a shipping email. If delivery is "I will DM you the PDF," you will eat chargebacks. Use the platform's delivery for digital and a written shipping promise for physical. Paage and Stan both handle file delivery; Linktree's shop features do too on current plans. The amateur tell is not the tool — it is the missing confirmation.

Refund policy belongs on the same page as the buy button, even if it is two sentences. In-app browsers hide footer links. Put the rule under the product, not in a Notion doc three taps away.

Verdict

Sell mixed things from a phone: Paage. Sell only digital and accept $29/mo: Stan Store. Sell occasionally and keep the URL everyone knows: Linktree. Test on Beacons only if you will pay before the 9% free-plan fee eats the margin.
